Marco Mendes

Marco Mendes currently serves as Global Legal Counsel (Privacy) at CHANEL, overseeing privacy reviews for over 20 global initiatives and managing various compliance processes within the company's Global Privacy Programme. Previous experience includes working as Privacy Counsel at OneTrust, where support was provided in developing AI governance frameworks, and as Lead Data Privacy Consultant at Protiviti. Earlier roles include law clerk positions focusing on tax recovery and political rights. Marco holds a Master Degree in Administrative Justice from Universidade Federal Fluminense and a Bachelor of Laws from Universidade Federal de Uberlândia, along with a non-credit specialization in Cloud Computing Law from Queen Mary University of London.
