Jorge Rosero

Jorge Rosero joined Change Machine at the end of April 2020 as a Virtual Financial Coach to support its vision, in particular its commitment to continuously build financial security for low-income communities through people-powered technology, for which he is highly passionate.

Jorge has worked in a variety of roles, including PFS banker, and investment consultant at BOFA, JPMorgan Chase and Santander Bank, as well as certified financial counselor, program director and project lead in local social services organizations in NYC. Jorge holds a BS in Economics from SUNY, and is currently a part-time student in the QMSS MS program at The Graduate Center in NYC.

Over the past 12 years, Jorge has worked with a large base of individuals, families, and small businesses to help them choose and manage plans that will lead them to reach their financial goals successfully. As a Virtual Financial Coach, his main goal is to help customers make well-informed decisions based on their financial goals by listening to their concerns, sharing information, risks and benefits analysis, and tax issues that threaten their goals. Jorge’s free time is divided between family time and graduate work and jogging.
