Changing Tides Foundation is a women-led nonprofit empowering young women from underserved communities through mentorship, community, and outdoor experiences. Since 2016, we have created pathways for participants to build confidence, develop leadership skills, and form meaningful connections.

Our Surf Mentorship Program uses the ocean as a space for growth, pairing participants with trained mentors for ongoing support while integrating workshops on topics such as women’s health, self-defense, and environmental stewardship. In 2026, we are expanding this model with a Skateboarding Mentorship Program, bringing our approach inland to reach young women who face barriers to accessing the coast. Together, these programs create inclusive environments where participants can challenge themselves, build resilience, and experience a strong sense of belonging.

Beyond mentorship, Changing Tides Foundation hosts community events, clinics, and cleanups that bring people together around connection, environmental responsibility, and inclusivity. These experiences strengthen local communities and create opportunities for continued engagement and leadership development.

With years of successful brand and community partnerships, we collaborate with values-aligned organizations to expand access and deepen impact. Together, we are building a growing network of confident young women prepared to lead in their communities and contribute to a more inclusive and sustainable future.
