Erik Vroon

Erik Vroon is a Python Software Engineer currently working in the Infrastructure Team at Channable since November 2021, focusing on enhancing the company's codebase in maintainability, reliability, scalability, performance, and security. Previously, Erik developed e-commerce API connections in the Marketplaces Team at Channable and completed a Master’s thesis at TNO on motion-based drone detection in GPS-denied environments. Erik’s experience includes an internship at ATG Europe creating tools for processing CAD files for VR applications, serving as Manager IT at the Studievereniging De Leidsche Flesch, assisting in courses at Leiden University, and a summer internship at Shell developing tools for toxicology report parsing. Erik holds a Master of Science in Aerospace Engineering from Delft University of Technology and Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Physics from Leiden University.
