Jay Burke has extensive experience in sales and business development within the seafood industry, with a career spanning from January 1987 to the present. As Director of Business Development for North America at Avramar from March 2021 to December 2022, Jay focused on key account partnerships and growth opportunities. Subsequently, Jay served as Sales Manager for Royal Greenland from 2023 to 2024, managing key partnerships with distributors and restaurants. Currently a Sales Manager for Fresh-Business Development at Channel Fish Processing since December 2024, Jay is responsible for steering sales initiatives and optimizing retail operations with a new Multivac skin pack machine. Previous roles include National Sales and Marketing Manager at Atlantic Salmon of Maine, National Sales Manager at Cozy Harbor Seafood, and National Key Account Manager at True North Seafood, Inc. Jay holds a B.S. from the University of Southern Maine and additional education from Colby College and the University of Southern Maine.
