Technical Lead - Oracle Ebusiness Suite at Channel 4

David Taylor's work experience begins in 1999 at Mokum, where they hold various roles as a Technical Consultant for blue chip companies. David also jointly manages Mokum's technical team and is responsible for resource allocation, development processes, and staff management until April 2013.

In 2007, they work as a Technical Consultant for the Wokingham Borough Council, fixing custom Oracle Applications Framework programs. David also installs and configures Oracle's JDeveloper tool and trains developer staff.

From 2008 to 2010, David works at John Lewis as a Technical Consultant and Data Migration Manager. David manages off-shore technical resources and handles performance/processing improvements across multiple eBusiness-related interfaces. David also leads the data migration tasks for the successful rollout of Oracle eBusiness Suite R12.

In 2011, David holds roles at Channel 4 and John Lewis as a Technical Team Lead and Technical Consultant, respectively. David works on Oracle Applications R12 Upgrade projects and bug-fixes and leads analysis and scoping work for the upgrade of custom eBusiness Suite programs.

From 2012 to 2014, David works as a Technical Analyst for Guardian News & Media, supporting Oracle eBusiness Suite Financials and HR/Payroll.

In 2015, they establish their own company, THECLICKSPACE LIMITED, where they serve as a Director, providing a wide range of Oracle Applications-related services.

Finally, in 2017, David joins Channel 4 as a Technical Lead for Oracle eBusiness Suite, focusing on the implementation of a bespoke Discoverer Reporting solution and integration with a third-party system. David also project manages the application of Oracle's HCM UK Legislative Patches and a database upgrade.

David Taylor earned a Ph.D. in Computational Chemistry from The University of Manchester from 1995 to 1998. David also holds a certification in IT Service Management (ITIL) Foundation from ITIL, obtained in 2013.
