Declan Toman

Declan Toman is an experienced digital service management professional with a strong background in site reliability engineering and operations. Currently serving as the Digital Service Delivery and SRE Manager at Channel 4 since September 2013, Declan has led the transition to an in-house SRE function and oversees C4's digital service management. Previously, Declan held the position of Digital Distribution and Operations Manager at Channel 4, responsible for the operational integrity of the organization's websites and online applications. Prior to that, Declan worked at the BBC from March 2006 to September 2013 in various roles, including Team Leader for live services, Senior Operations Engineer, and Operations Engineer, ensuring uptime and support for BBC's digital platforms. Declan holds an M.B.A. with a specialization in Leadership from the University of Liverpool and a BSc in Computer Science from the same institution.
