John Moran

John Moran is the Controller of Business Affairs at Channel 4, a position held since January 2014, where responsibilities include leading business relationships with the creative community and overseeing all legal and financial aspects of content supply. Prior to this role, John served as the Head of Commercial & Business Development for the BBC's Radio & Music division and as the Head of Business Affairs for Audio & Music, where John was integral to the commercial strategy and deal-making within the music sector. Earlier experience at BBC News involved senior management of legal and business affairs, and previous roles included working as a Legal Advisor at both the BBC and HM Treasury. John holds a Master of Laws degree from the University of California, Berkeley, and a Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Oxford.
