Marc Woods

Marc Woods serves as Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity since November 2017, playing a key role in professional development within the UK's sport sector. With experience as a commentator and pundit for Channel 4 and as a LinkedIn Learning instructor leveraging insights from the book 'Beyond the Call', Marc also provides leadership advisory and executive coaching through Path to Gold. As a founding partner of EQUIIDA, Marc focuses on enhancing business performance through inclusion and diversity. Previous positions include faculty at the London Business School, director roles at both the British Athletes Commission and Youth Sport Trust, and chair positions at Youth Sport Direct and Youth Sport Award, supporting initiatives that promote youth participation in sports. Educational qualifications include an honorary doctorate from Middlesex University, a Master's in Executive Coaching from Meyler Campbell, and leadership training from Harvard University, alongside a BSc in Business and Sports from the University of Roehampton.
