Richard Thomas

Richard Thomas has an extensive background in finance and accounting, currently serving as a Management Accountant at Channel 4 since November 2019. Prior to this role, Richard worked at Channel 5 from March 2011 to October 2019 as a Senior Finance Analyst and Financial Analyst, focusing on profitability analysis, investment reviews, and budget management. Richard's earlier experience includes serving as an Assistant Financial Analyst at ITV from May 2006 to March 2011, where budgeting and cash flow analysis were key responsibilities, and as a Credit Controller at PRS for Music from April 2004 to May 2006, managing royalty revenues for music licenses. Richard holds a BA Hons in Accountancy from the University of Bedfordshire and is qualified in Management Accounting through CIMA.
