James Brown

James Brown is the Director of Scheduling at Channel 5. Prior to that, they worked as a Programme Planning Assistant at Comedy Central from September 2013 to January 2014. In this role, they worked closely with the Scheduling Manager to ensure that programming for Paramount Comedy Russia was implemented on time and was as effective as possible. James also oversaw the EPG process for all channels, managed rights information and play history, wrote new programme synopses, and assisted in the creation and research of programme stunts to influence ratings.

From July 2010 to March 2011, James Brown was the Operations Manager at Cineworld Cinemas Ltd. In this role, they were responsible for managing the operations of the cinema, including the box office, customer service, and concessions. James also oversaw the maintenance of the cinema, staff training, and health and safety compliance.

From January 2010 to December 2010, James Brown worked as an Operations Manager at Nine Lives Media. In this role, they were responsible for managing the operations of the company, including the finance, HR, and IT departments. James also oversaw the health and safety compliance of the company and ensured that all employees received proper training.

James Brown pursued a Bachelor of Arts in Media Studies at the University of East London. Prior to that, they attended Christ The King 6th Form College and St Joseph's Academy.

James Brown reports to David Lynn, Director. They work with Emma MacGregor - Head of Production and Operations, Alex Norris - VP Creative Director, and Rob Fox - Creative Director.
