John Sweeden

John Sweeden is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in financial services and music. As a Partner and Co-Founder of Five Star Advisor Partners, LLC since 1998, John has provided a range of financial services including retirement plans, life, homeowners, auto, business, and aviation insurance. In addition, John has been a musician with the Dallas Wind Symphony since the early '90s, playing Baritone Saxophone. Prior roles include Director of Operations Analysis at HD Vest, where responsibilities encompassed internal audit and financial analysis, and Manager of Financial Analysis at UT Southwestern Health Services, overseeing financial evaluations of initiatives. John also served as Director of Operations Analysis at S2 Systems, managing financial planning and budgeting. Educationally, John holds an MBA in Finance from Baylor University and a BM in Music Performance from the same institution.
