Weldon Kennedy

Weldon Kennedy has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Weldon co-founded Channing St. Copper Co. in 2022, where they serve as the Co-Founder and CMO. Prior to that, they were a Board Member and later the Co-Founder and COO of Enda from 2015 to 2022. Enda is a company focused on producing running shoes in Kenya for global sale.

In 2022, Weldon was a Fellow at Climatebase from August to October. Weldon also co-founded Campaign Bootcamp in 2012, serving as a Co-Founder and Board Member until 2017. This organization provided campaign training programs. Weldon was an Advisor at Africa's Voices for a brief period in 2015.

Weldon also had notable roles at Change.org, where they were the Managing Director, Europe from 2013 to 2015 and the Global Development Director from 2011 to 2013. In the former role, they expanded the organization's non-profit lead generation business to Europe and Australia. Furthermore, they were the Director of Human Rights Organizing from 2011 to 2011.

Before that, Weldon worked at ONE, serving as a Campaigns Manager from 2009 to 2011. Weldon also held the role of Campaigns Coordinator from 2007 to 2009, where they built ONE Campus Challenge, a distributed campaigning platform and program. Weldon started at ONE as an Internet Generalist in 2006.

Additionally, Weldon worked as an Online Communications Consultant for Ed Miliband for Labour Leader in 2010, and as a Field Organizer for the Missouri Democratic Party, Claire McCaskill United States Senate in 2006. Weldon also had a brief role as an Internet Communications Staffer at the Democratic Senatorial Campaign Committee in 2006. Overall, Weldon Kennedy has a diverse background in co-founding and leading organizations, campaign management, and online communications.

Weldon Kennedy completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, International and Global Studies from Brandeis University from 2002 to 2006. Later, in 2021 and 2022, they pursued further education at Stanford University Graduate School of Business, specializing in the Seed - Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies program.
