Linyi G. has a diverse work experience in the field of engineering. From 2022 to present, Linyi worked as a Hydraulic Engineer at Chant Engineering Co. Inc. Prior to that, from 2019 to 2022, Linyi was a Hydraulic/Electric/Controls engineer at Buckingham Structural Moving Equipment, LLC, responsible for redesigning and updating power units and machinery.

From 2008 to 2019, Linyi served as the President of Technology at Hangzhou Universal Control Mechatronics LLC, where they were involved in coordinating the development of portfolio products and liaising with customers and suppliers.

Before that, from 1998 to 2019, Linyi worked as a Full Professor at Zhejiang University, Institute for Mechatronics, where they provided instruction and developed educational content for university students.

Additionally, Linyi was a Visiting Scholar at the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities from 2006 to 2008, where they contributed to mechanical engineering programs and proposed innovative concepts in the field of pure mechanical-hydraulic driven motors.

Linyi G. earned a Bachelor's degree in Hydraulics and Fluid Power Technology/Technician from Zhejiang University, where they studied from 1989 to 1993. Linyi further pursued education and obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in the same field from Zhejiang University between 1993 and 1998.
