Nael Hailemariam

Nael Hailemariam is a Co-founder and General Manager at Chapa. Prior to that, Nael was an intern at Tencent, researching the implementation of quant studies relevant to game design and payment in the Middle East and Africa. Nael was also the Design + Space Laboratory Manager at Tsinghua University, where they were in charge of the design + space lab and co-organizer of the residency program at Tsinghua Shenzhen International Graduate School. Nael has also worked as a Crypto Community Manager at Asia Innovations Group and a Teaching Assistant for Digital Circuit at Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics.

Nael Hailemariam holds a Master of Science from Tsinghua University in Data Science and Information Technology, a Bachelor of Science from Beihang University in Electronic and Information Engineering, and a Bachelor of Science from Addis Ababa University in Computer Science. Nael also attended summer school at the University of Geneva and Tsinghua University. Nael's high school diploma is in Natural Sciences from Lideta Catholic Cathedral School (LCCS). Nael has also completed certification programs from LinkedIn in Transitioning from Manager to Leader, Managing Meetings, Negotiation Skills, Creating a Communications Strategy, Managing Office Politics, Critical Thinking, and Leading with Emotional Intelligence. In addition, they have completed the Alibaba Netpreneur Training 2021 program from Alibaba Global Initiatives.
