John Lyons

John Lyons is the Director of the Center for Innovations in Population Health and a Professor of Public Health at the University of Kentucky, roles they have held since 2019. Previously, they served as a Professor at Northwestern University for three decades and as a Senior Policy Fellow at Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago from 2014 to 2019. Lyons also held the position of Endowed Chair of Child and Youth Mental Health Research at the University of Ottawa from 2008 to 2014. They earned a B.A. in Psychology from Butler University and a Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
