Ian Duncombe

Ian Duncombe is a Board Director at chapmanbdsp, where they have led building services and environmental engineering teams on innovative projects worldwide, including high-profile developments such as the Zayed National Museum and Central Market in Abu Dhabi. With a background in building engineering from the University of Bath, Ian worked at Roger Preston & Partners for eight years before founding BDSP in 1995, which later merged with Chapman Bathurst. Ian has also contributed to the education of future professionals by running Technical Studies courses at the Architectural Association in London for over sixteen years. Their expertise lies in holistic design processes, low carbon and sustainable buildings, and international project management.
