Shalini Kumar

Shalini Kumar is a seasoned entrepreneur and educator in the fashion industry, currently serving as the COO and Co-Founder of Chapter Apps Inc since October 2014. In addition, Shalini founded Bee Fashion Ready in April 2020, a platform aimed at enhancing the employability of fashion students. Previous roles include Senior Faculty and founding team member for courses at Pearl Academy from July 2007 to December 2021, and founder of Céleste, a boutique for celebrities, and Trendy Bags, a retail brand for handbags. Early career experience includes positions at Impulse (India) Pvt. Ltd and Opera Global Private Ltd, where Shalini held strategic roles in buying and merchandising. Shalini's educational credentials encompass a Professional Designation in Fashion Merchandising and Marketing from FIDM, a Bachelor of Applied Science in Textile Design from Lady Irwin College, and a Diploma in Export Management from the Institute of Management Technology, with ongoing studies in Fashion History at the Fashion Institute of Technology.
