Julie Greene

Julie Greene is a seasoned consultant and social entrepreneur with extensive experience in impact investing, women’s empowerment, and sustainable development. Currently a consultant at ChapterOne and Viridian, Julie has previously co-founded The Women's Bakery, facilitating the launch of nutrition-centric bakeries in East Africa. Julie's background includes serving as an education volunteer with the Peace Corps, holding the position of Investment Manager at Future Day Global, and advising Kweza Craft Brewery on finance and operations. As the former Director of Finance and Operations at Renewvia Energy, Julie managed multiple subsidiaries across Sub-Saharan Africa. Julie holds an MBA from the University of Oxford and a Bachelor’s degree in Geology from Macalester College.
