Kate Planow's work experience begins in 2002 as an Area Coordinator for Trinity College. Kate then moved on to the University of Hartford, where they held various roles, including Assistant Director of Residential Life and Associate Director of Student Centers. In 2007, they joined Longwood University as Associate Director of Fraternity & Sorority Life, overseeing multiple undergraduate boards and working on strategic planning and logistics.
In 2013, Kate became the Assistant Executive Director for Alpha Epsilon Phi, where they supervised traveling consultants and managed website updates and analytics. Kate then transitioned to the National Fraternity of Kappa Delta Rho, Inc. as the Director of Growth, responsible for opening new chapters and managing on-site logistics for leadership school.
In 2016, Kate joined Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity as an Event Manager, handling logistics for major events and increasing attendance through data analysis. Kate also started their own coaching practice, specializing in life, leadership, and career coaching.
In 2020, they became the Director of Development for the Triangle Education Foundation, raising funds through alumni donors and adapting to virtual communication during the pandemic. Following this role, Kate worked as a Project Manager at KELL Partners, managing Salesforce implementations for nonprofits and educational institutions.
Most recently, in 2023, Kate joined ChapterSpot as an Account Manager.
Kate Planow holds a Master of Science degree in Counseling-Higher Ed & Student Dev. from Central Connecticut State University. Kate also obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Science from the University of Hartford. In addition to their academic qualifications, they have a certification as a Salesforce Certified Associate, which they obtained in September 2022 from Salesforce.
