Andrew White is a co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of CHAR Technologies Ltd., a cleantech development and services company specializing in biocarbon development, including activated charcoal known as SulfaCHAR, solid biofuel CleanFyre, and custom equipment for industrial air and water treatment. With experience in environmental management, site investigation, remediation, engineering, and resource efficiency, Andrew has played a significant role in advancing sustainable technologies. Prior to founding CHAR Technologies, Andrew worked as an Engineering Intern at Ontario Power Generation, assisting in Inspection and Maintenance management within the Station Engineering department at Pickering Nuclear. Andrew holds a Master of Business, Entrepreneurship and Technology (MBET) from the University of Waterloo, a Master of Applied Science (MASc) in Chemical Engineering, and a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) in Chemical Engineering, both from the University of Toronto.
