Jerry Ruoti

Jerry Ruoti is the Head of Trust and Safety at Character.AI since April 2024, previously serving as the Director, Head of Trust and Safety at DoorDash from December 2019 to August 2023. At Airbnb, Jerry held multiple roles from January 2015 to December 2019, including Senior Manager for the Trust Program Management and Manager for Trust Program Management. Jerry started at Facebook in July 2008, taking on various roles, notably as the Community Support Experience Project Manager, where responsibilities included evaluating user-facing products for potential risks and leading initiatives to combat child exploitation. Jerry’s educational background includes a B.S. with Honors in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.
