Jon Merry

Jonathan Merry has extensive work experience in operations and management roles in the energy sector. Jonathan is currently the Head of Operations at Chargefox since March 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Contractor at Chargefox from September 2022 to February 2023. Before joining Chargefox, Jonathan worked at Shell Energy Australia as the General Manager of Retail Operations from December 2019 to May 2022. Jonathan also worked at ERM Power, where they held the positions of General Manager for Retail Operations from July 2014 to November 2019 and General Manager for SME Operations from March 2013 to June 2014. At Wipro BPO, Jonathan served as the C&I Billing Operations Manager & Functional Delivery Lead from September 2009 to February 2013. Jonathan began their career at Origin Energy, where they held various managerial positions including Operations Manager for Mass Market Billing and Unauthorised Usage, Business Coordination Manager, National Manager for Energy Balances, Business Improvement & Reporting Manager, and Network Settlements Manager, spanning from 2002 to 2009.

Jonathan Merry obtained their Bachelor of Arts (Honors) degree in Economics from De Montfort University, where they studied from 1993 to 1996. Afterward, they pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree at Deakin University, which they completed from 2001 to 2007.
