Michael Engl currently serves as Vice President of Software at ChargePoint, leading a global team of over 200 engineers and developers across various disciplines, along with being a member of the extended executive staff. Previously held the position of Senior Director Technology, overseeing a team of 80+ Cloud Engineers responsible for the EU SaaS platform. As CTO at has.to.be gmbh, Michael managed technological direction and innovation. Prior to that, served as CEO and CTO at Ognios GmbH, where strategic expansion and corporate management were key focuses. Early career experience includes roles at Sony DADC as Lead Software Engineer, Liebherr-Werk Bischofshofen GmbH as Embedded Software Engineer, and founding VE-design.net. Michael holds two Master of Science degrees from Salzburg University of Applied Sciences, specializing in Robotic and Adaptive Software Systems, as well as Information Technology and Systems Management.
