James Mast is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in business development and strategic partnerships, currently serving as the Director of Business Development and Strategic Partnerships at Chargeway since March 2018. As President of Mast Collaborative since November 2011 and COO at Portland Development Solutions since January 2016, James combines leadership with a strong background in project management, particularly in electric vehicle and energy storage initiatives. Chargeway® is a software platform, mobile app and communication solution for the auto industry designed to improve the electric car customer experience with “electric fuel”. Using colors and numbers, Chargeway® creates a simple identity for charging plug and power options offering industry stakeholders and consumers an easier way to understand how electric cars are charged. Chargeway® is at the center of an electric car industry coalition including electric utilities, auto dealerships, automakers, charging networks and governments. The resulting product is a communication strategy that explains electric car charging to mainstream consumers that is as easy to understand as buying "regular" gas in an internal combustion engine vehicle.
