Akiva Carr

Akiva Carr is a fundraising consultant at Charidy.com since May 2022 and has served as an educator at the South African Board of Jewish Education since January 2017, teaching Jewish Studies to senior primary students at King David Victory Park. Previously, Akiva held the position of head of the Informal Education Department at Yeshiva College Boys High School from January 2014 to December 2016. Additional experience includes working as a madrich at Yeshivat Orayta and as a sports coach at Hirsch Lyons School. Akiva holds an Honours Degree in Psychology and a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from the University of South Africa/Universiteit van Suid-Afrika, along with education from Yeshivat Orayta and the Yeshiva Gedolah of Johannesburg. Akiva completed primary and secondary education at Hirsch Lyons School from 1994 to 2009.
