We look different because we are different. Charlesworth Consulting is a risk management and insurance consulting firm founded on the basic principle that you need someone on your side. Someone you can count on to give it to you straight and who doesn’t have a product to sell. 40 years later, we are still living our values and helping public entities in the Midwest and Texas navigate the insurance world and manage their risk.

At Charlesworth, we specialize in public entity risk management, and our dedicated team understands the public sector. Public entities are different than private organizations. We know because we’ve worked with them. Some of us have even worked for them. We work to find creative solutions with a local, personal touch that ensures your city, school district, or county stays on budget and has peace of mind.

We know one size does not fit all, and that’s why we provide customized services based on your needs, not cookie cutter solutions that have no impact in practice. We are about relationships and want to get to know you so we can understand your strengths, weaknesses, and challenges. Together, we can create a strategy to improve your risk profile and be intentional about what we do.

We also want to make your life easier. We don’t sell insurance. All we have to offer is our time and expertise. We can help administer your program more efficiently, either by improving processes, supplementing your internal offerings, or taking tasks off your plate. We deliver on our promises and respond to feedback. We are creative thinkers and problem solvers who understand insurance, public entities, risk management, and how they all interact. And, we take pride in our reputation, which means you’ll always receive professional, practical, unbiased, and uncompromised solutions.

Let’s start a conversation about what we can do together. Contact us today.
