Charlie's FreeWheels (CFW) is a Toronto charity that uses bicycles to support the development of empowered young leaders, and self-assured young cyclists. We do this by improving youth access to bicycles, facilitating bicycle-related skill development, and inspiring youth to ride with confidence.

Build-A-Bike is our signature program. Participants aged 12-25 learn to build a bike from the frame up with their own hands, through classes about bicycle anatomy, tool safety, a bike's mechanical systems, and bike safety. Participants leave the program with a helmet, lock, front and back lights, a bell, and a bike built by and for them, along with the skills and knowledge to repair it themselves and ride it safely.
