Founded in 2001, the Charlottesville Scholarship Program is dedicated to bridging the gap between potential and opportunity. We provide 11 new scholarships annually and fund four years of a Scholar's education. Our Scholars are also provided with a Navigator, who will act as their mentor for the durations of their higher education careers. Over the last 25 years, we've given over $1.2 million in scholarships to more than 215 local students.

What began with a visionary gift of $250,000 from the City has grown into a $1.2 million endowment, reflecting our unwavering commitment to educational equity and philanthropy. We don’t just provide financial aid; we invest in the future leaders of our community. Through data-driven support, we empower scholars to transform their aspirations into degrees and their degrees into meaningful careers.

Education is a journey best traveled together. The Charlottesville Scholarship Program is more than a fund—it’s a collective of scholars, mentors, and supporters invested in long-term success. Whether you are a scholar seeking professional networking through our LinkedIn Alumni Group or a supporter looking to invest in the next generation, you belong here. Follow us for scholar spotlights, community success stories, and updates on how we are modernizing the scholarship experience.
