Aashish Bagla

Aashish Bagla has a diverse work experience in various software engineering roles. Aashish started their career at Aricent as a Software Engineer from July 2009 to July 2011. Aashish then joined Cyan Inc as a Software Engineer Intern for a brief period from June 2012 to August 2012, where they worked on implementing features and modifying layouts using Python and wx-Python. Next, Aashish worked at the University of Texas at Dallas as a Teaching Assistant for Network Security from January 2013 to June 2013. In this role, they assisted the professor in lectures and labs and performed grading tasks. After that, they worked at Ciena as a Software Engineer from July 2013 to July 2018. In this position, they led efforts in designing and developing a Discovery Engine Template Processor using Scala, Akka, Kafka, Json4s, and TOSCA. Finally, Aashish joined Chartboost in 2018 and held multiple roles, including Scala Developer, Senior Software Engineer - Scala, and currently serves as a Software Engineering Manager since June 2020.

Aashish Bagla completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Information Technology from Pune Institute of Computer Technology, where they studied from 2005 to 2009. Later, they pursued their Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science from The University of Texas at Dallas, attending from 2011 to 2013. Additionally, Aashish obtained a certification in Certified Reactive Architect Exam v3 from Lightbend, Inc. in June 2018.
