Bichen Wang's work experience includes several significant roles in various companies. They are currently working as a Staff Software Engineer at Chartboost since 2022. Before that, they worked at Twitter from 2015 to 2021, where they served as a Software Engineer and contributed to the MoPub Android SDK ad formats team. At Twitter, they were responsible for creating the native video ad format framework using VAST 3.0.

Prior to their time at Twitter, Bichen Wang worked at Amazon as a Software Development Engineer from 2013 to 2015. Their responsibilities at Amazon included working on the Maps app and Maps API for Kindle and Fire Phone. They also created the public transit user experience and wrote the external API that mirrors Google Maps API.

In 2012, they held the position of Vice President at Cal Animage Alpha. They also worked briefly as a Software Engineer at WhatsApp Inc., focusing on the Android client of WhatsApp. During their time at WhatsApp, they played a role in creating Arabic layouts and right-to-left support and provided consultancy to fix bugs for Sony.

Bichen Wang's earlier experience includes being a Reader at UC Berkeley in 2012 and working as an Intern at Piazzza in 2011, where they worked on the Android port of www.piazzza.com. Bichen Wang completed their secondary education at Westwood High School from 2005 to 2009. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science at the University of California, Berkeley, from 2009 to 2013.
