Mason Karsevar has a diverse work experience spanning several industries and roles. Mason currently works as a Software Engineer at Chartboost since 2021. Prior to that, they worked as a Software Engineer at EasyTrust, Inc. from 2020 to 2021, where they developed scalable frontend architecture and constructed the backend using Express and Postgres SQL. Mason also conducted research on automating client living trust customization.
Before EasyTrust, Inc., Mason was a Team Lead at Lambda School from 2019 to 2021, where they worked with web developers and data scientists to ship out application iterations and facilitate smooth communication between teams. Additionally, they worked as a Software Engineer at CoachMe Health in 2019, where they developed backend and API integrations as the sole backend developer.
Mason's earlier experience includes roles as a Teaching Assistant at the Mead School District from 2016 to 2019, where they tutored underperforming students, and as a Teacher's Assistant at Mountainside Middle School in 2016, where they taught middle school students in special education. Mason also served as a Facilitator for Ethnic Studies at the University of Washington in 2015, leading lectures and assisting students with an Asian American identity project. Finally, they worked as an Assistant Archivist at the Filipino-American National Historical Society in 2015, where they documented and archived articles and transcribed interviews of Filipino American war veterans.
Mason Karsevar completed a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in American Ethnic Studies & Geology at the University of Washington from 2012 to 2015. In 2018, they attended Y Combinator's Startup School for a brief period. Currently, they are engaged in learning computer programming and web development at BloomTech since 2019.
