Chris Rand is a seasoned space systems engineering leader and RF integration expert with a background as a Navy veteran. They served in the US Navy from 2004 to 2013 as a Fire Controlman and Electronics Technician, specializing in complex fire control systems on AEGIS class cruisers and destroyers. After their military service, Chris worked as an Electrical Engineer at the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory from 2018 to 2019, followed by a role as a Radio Frequency Engineer at Lockheed Martin from 2019 to 2025. Currently, Chris is a Network Engineer III at Charter Communications. They hold a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Maryland College Park, earned in 2018.
