Kevin Smith

Kevin Smith currently serves as the Group Vice President of Field Operations, Human Resources, and Labor Relations at Charter Communications since May 2016, leading human resources initiatives and overseeing labor relations across the organization. Previous roles include Group Vice President of Labor and Employee Relations at Charter, and various legal positions at Time Warner Cable, including Group Vice President and Chief Counsel, Labor, where responsibilities encompassed comprehensive labor relations and employee benefits law. Smith also held the title of Employment Counsel at Time Warner Inc., addressing labor and employment issues across multiple subsidiary companies, and worked as a Trial Attorney at the National Labor Relations Board, focusing on cases under the National Labor Relations Act. Smith holds a Doctor of Law (JD) from American University Washington College of Law and a Bachelor's degree in History from Yale University.
