Richard Katte

Richard Katte is an accomplished manufacturing engineering leader with over 25 years of experience across diverse roles in the manufacturing sector. Currently serving as the Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Charter Automotive since February 2020, Richard is responsible for leading engineering teams and implementing best-in-class standards in manufacturing. Previously, Richard held the position of Plant Manager at ATACO Steel Products, overseeing a team of 60 in a unionized environment, and served as Plant Superintendent at Kohler Co., where significant safety initiatives were achieved. Earlier in Richard's career, positions included Operations Manager/Engineering Manager at Polar Ware Company and Industrial Engineer at West Bend Company. Richard holds a Master of Science in Engineering Management from Milwaukee School of Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Technology Management from UW-Platteville.
