Jordan M.

Jordan M. has a solid work experience in the technology industry, with a focus on DevOps engineering and system administration. They have recently worked at ChartHop as a Principal DevOps Engineer and prior to that, as a Senior DevOps Engineer. Before that, they gained extensive experience at OpenDNS, now a part of Cisco, as a Site Reliability Engineer. In this role, they designed and managed scalable, highly available, and reliable systems, set up Kafka clusters, and implemented a security solution for the Kafka Schema Registry. Jordan also has experience as a System Engineer at Sony Pictures Imageworks, where they developed tools and administered workstations in an off-site data center. They also worked as a Linux Systems Administrator at Pixar Canada, managing software packaging and configuration. Early in their career, Jordan worked at Electronic Arts as Onsite Technical Support and at HSBC as a Technical Assistant.

Jordan M. attended Simon Fraser University from 2004 to 2009, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Computer Science.
