Carly Chalmers

Carly Chalmers has a wealth of experience in marketing, customer education, and communications. Carly has held roles across a variety of industries, beginning in 2013 at LoveCrafts as a Marketing Associate. In this role, they grew email subscribers by 150% in one year. In 2015, they held roles at Spacefy, Etsy, and Canada Learning Code, where they were a Lead Instructor. At Today Translations, they were a Digital Communications Manager and was responsible for managing a company website redesign. In 2016, they joined Vend as an Education Content Producer, and in 2018 they were a Front of House Assistant at the Toronto International Film Festival. In 2019, they joined HigherMe as a Marketing Manager, where they reported directly to the CEO and helped grow revenue by more than 300%. Most recently, in 2021, they joined ChartMogul as a Manager of Customer Education and a Senior Instructional Designer.

Carly Chalmers completed a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) in New Media from Toronto Metropolitan University. Carly also participated in an International Exchange Program at the University of Westminster. In addition, they have obtained certifications from the Ellen MacArthur Foundation, BrainStation, the Government of Ontario, Smart Serve Ontario, and the Government of Ontario. These certifications include From Linear To Circular: Open To All (2020), Data Analytics (December 2017), Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act, Smart Serve, and Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps.
