Candace Porter

Candace Porter has held various positions in the medical field since 2007. From 2007 to 2013, they were the Practice Manager at Northwestern Reproductive Genetics, a private genetics practice. In this role, they managed payroll, bookkeeping, A/R, inventory, recruitment, and purchasing of medical & laboratory supplies/equipment. Candace also liaised with third party revenue cycle team to ensure compliance with insurance coding, procedures, denials, requests and medical regulations. From 2013 to 2023, they were the President and Chief Operating Officer of Insight Medical Genetics. In this dual role, they led the development of a growing organization and strategically positioned it for national growth. Candace oversaw all daily operations, including patient experience, physician relations, clinical and laboratory operations, and office workflow design and management. Candace also developed a hybrid model Revenue Cycle Department and drove internalization efforts. Currently, they are the Director of Operations at ChartSpan Medical Technologies.

Candace Porter holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Indiana Wesleyan University and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) from the University of Illinois Chicago.
