Stephen Thompson

Stephen Thompson is an experienced construction professional with a strong background in project management and pre-development roles. Currently serving as Pre-Construction Director at Chartway Group since November 2017, Stephen also holds titles including Head of Pre-Development and Pre-Development Construction Manager. Prior experience includes a Senior Consultant role at MBM Consulting Ltd and Operations Manager at Kier Group, where responsibilities involved overseeing construction projects valued between £4M and £25M. Stephen’s earlier roles include Contracts Manager at Dean & Dyball Construction Ltd, managing projects from £4M to £13M, and Project Manager at Fitzpatrick Construction, delivering projects with values ranging from £6M to £47M. Stephen holds a BSc(Eng) Hons in Civil Engineering from Imperial College London, obtained from 1981 to 1984.
