Faruk Shaikh

Faruk Shaikh is an experienced payroll and accounting professional with a strong background in managing payroll processes for retirement homes and various organizations across Canada. Currently serving as a Payroll Accounting Analyst at Chartwell Retirement Residences since August 2018, Faruk is responsible for reconciling EFT files, generating and balancing General Ledgers, and processing adjustments. Previous roles include Payroll Specialist positions at Chartwell and ADP, where Faruk managed full cycle payrolls for multiple clients, and achievements at Gate Gourmet include processing bi-weekly payroll for approximately 1200 unionized employees. Faruk's educational background includes a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Auditing, ongoing training with the Canadian Payroll Association, and completion of CPA's PREP Level in Accounting and Finance.
