Benjamin de Jager, PhD, is a consultant at Chartwell Consulting since August 2022, previously serving as an associate consultant. Benjamin worked as a quantitative analyst at CQS in early 2022, focusing on US high-yield bond trading and utilizing Python for data analysis and strategy back-testing. A research assistant at the University of Oxford in late 2016, Benjamin contributed to the MARS4 project on SLS nickel superalloys, performing data analysis with MATLAB and Wolfram Mathematica. Additional experience includes working as an engineering analyst at Ultra Electronics Group, where signal processing algorithms were developed for passive sonar systems. Benjamin holds a DPhil in Engineering Science, specializing in Materials Engineering, and a BA (Hons) in Physics from the University of Oxford, along with education from Eton College and the KCP International Japanese Language School in Tokyo.
