Amy Shaffer

With over 20 years of supply chain experience, Amy’s background provides her with a unique perspective. She joined Compass Group in 2011 and served in a variety of roles with the Foodbuy team. Most recently, as Senior Vice President, Supply Chain, she focused on solving resource and inflation challenges while overseeing the management and execution of Compass purchasing strategies throughout the entire business. Amy is able to see through an operator’s lens, advocating for innovative business solutions that simplify the day-to-day responsibilities of operators. She also brings her experience as the mother of three daughters, ages six to ten. Amy is a proud graduate of Vanderbilt University where she received her engineering degree, and of Babson college where she earned her MBA.
