Pedro Sampaio

Pedro S. has a wealth of experience in the technology industry. In 2007, they began working for Capgemini as an Analyst Consultant, where they delivered robust support in the development of CRM solutions for businesses with high volume. Pedro also built and administered various internal applications associated with the banking sector, utilizing technologies such as JavaScript, Java (J2EE), and SQL databases. In 2012, Pedro began freelancing, and also worked as a Developer for win.com. Later that same year, they joined CleverTech as a Senior Developer, where they established and sustained strong relationships with cross-functional teams, designed and developed minimum viable products, and ensured the appropriate functionality of client solutions through detailed testing and code coverage. In 2016, Pedro joined Chaser as their CTO, Head of Engineering, and Lead Software Engineer. In these roles, they provided strategic direction to the business by devising a technology roadmap consistent with customer needs, led recruitment of engineering and technical talent to meet business goals and objectives, and actively shaped and positively influenced product strategy.

Pedro S. attended the Polytechnic Institute of Leiria, Portugal from 2000 to 2007, where they earned a Licentiate degree in Computer Engineering and Communications. Pedro has also obtained certifications in AI For Everyone, Google Cloud Platform Big Data and Machine Learning Fundamentals, and Intro to Python for Data Science from Coursera and DataCamp, respectively.
