Tom Brinton has a diverse work experience in various roles and companies. Tom started their career in 2010 at Classical 89, where they worked as a Producer and Announcer, responsible for producing local content and conducting interviews. In 2011, they joined BYU Broadcasting as a Producer for the Matt Townsend Show and also produced a show about independent musicians called "Ears to the Ground" and engineered live music performances.
In 2012, Tom worked as a Digital Marketing Specialist at Wallaroo Media before transitioning to Custody X Change in 2013 as a UX Designer. Tom then joined Roach as a UI/UX Designer from 2013 to 2014. In the same year, they worked briefly at Citrusbits as a Mobile Product Designer.
From 2014 to 2015, Tom was a founding member of Flip Classifieds and served as a Mobile Product Designer & Manager, responsible for visual branding, UI/UX, marketing, user acquisition, and front-end coding. Tom later joined Leef in 2015 as a Mobile Product Designer.
In 2017, Tom started working at Chatbooks and held several positions. Tom began as a Product Designer and then progressed to Senior Product Designer, where they led the update and redesign of the flagship iOS app and contributed to the creation of the Chatbooks design system. Tom then became the Principal Product Designer before finally assuming the role of Head of UX Design in 2023.
Tom's earliest experience can be traced back to 2011 when they worked as a Game Designer at Beep Yeah LLC, designing game mechanics, artwork, and music for web, mobile, and desktop platforms.
