• First Grand Cru Classé in 1855 • Sauternes
Founded in 1766 by Pierre Guiraud, the estate treated ecology as a requirement long before it became an obvious one. Pioneering practices were introduced as early as 1983; in 2011, Guiraud became the first Premier Grand Cru Classé 1855 to be certified organic.

OUR WINES
Château Guiraud and Petit Guiraud, Sauternes born of Botrytis cinerea, in a contemporary reading of sweet wine: freshness, tension, measured sweetness.
G de Guiraud and Le Grand Vin Blanc Sec, dry white Bordeaux driven by the same standards.

A LIVING ESTATE
Certified organic vineyard, permaculture kitchen garden, hedgerows, trees and biodiversity tended day after day: here, living systems are part of the work, not the scenery. That commitment extends through Terres de Natures, the label founded by Matthieu Gufflet, co-owner of the estate, which brings together several properties around a shared conviction: farming that respects living things, and hospitality that means it.

A DESTINATION
Château Guiraud is a place to visit, to taste and to share. Vineyard and cellar tours, tastings, tailor-made experiences and private hire of our spaces: a wine tourism offer awarded a Best Of Gold by the Great Wine Capitals.

TWO RESTAURANTS
Le Cercle Guiraud, our fine-dining table led by chef Yoann Amado, one star in the MICHELIN Guide 2026.
La Chapelle de Guiraud, our bistronomy table on the estate, Bib Gourmand 2026, with Thomas Simonneau in the kitchen under the culinary direction of Yoann Amado.

Heritage, nature and gastronomy: three ways into the world of Guiraud.
