Don Gerundo has a diverse work experience spanning multiple companies and roles. Don started their career as a Programmer Analyst at IBM in 1984, where they gathered requirements and made enhancements to the Consolidated Revenue System. Don then worked at Digital Equipment Corporation as a Senior Software Engineer, providing technical support and troubleshooting for clients. At Rijnhaave Information Services, they served as the IT Director, leading a team of 50 staff members and implementing software development best practices.
Don also worked as a Data Architect at Impath/Genzyme, where they integrated financial and sales data from two organizations. Don then joined Canon as a Consultant and served as an Enterprise Data Architect, creating a data architecture vision and design for Canon's Enterprise Reporting Systems. Don also constructed a data warehouse and a Sales Data Mart at Canon.
At Chateaux Software, they worked as a Data Warehouse Architect, designing and modeling database systems and ETL architectures. Don'smost recent role was as a Consultant at KPMG, where they worked with the Audit Division to architect and develop a de-identifying process for client data.
Throughout their career, Don has demonstrated expertise in data architecture, database design, ETL processes, and business intelligence tools such as Business Objects. Don has experience in various industries, including technology, healthcare, and financial services.
Don Gerundo has a Master's degree in Biology from Connecticut College, a Master's degree in Computer Science from Iona University, and a Bachelor's degree from Ithaca College, with a major in Biology and minors in Chemistry and Math.
