Simon Fraser

Simon Fraser is a founding partner of Flint Global, an international business advisory firm based in London, where they provide expert guidance on policy and regulatory issues across European, Asian, and Middle Eastern markets. They currently serve as Chair of Chatham House, the Royal Institute for International Affairs. From 2010 to 2015, Simon was head of the UK Foreign Office and Diplomatic Service, and before that, they served as the permanent secretary of the Department for Business during the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis. Simon also held the position of chief of staff to the EU Trade Commissioner in Brussels from 2004 to 2008, playing a key role in EU trade negotiations. They studied at the University of Cambridge from 1976 to 1979.
