Samuel Dowd

Samuel Dowd has worked in a variety of roles since 2013. In 2016, they began working as an English Teacher for English to Go and an Editor & Content Writer for Babbel. In 2020, they started working as an English Teacher for Regional Schule Hiddensee and, in 2021, they began working as a Student Support Specialist / Tutor Manager / B2B Account Manager for Chatterbug. Additionally, since 2013, they have also been working as a Freelance Translator, Editor & Proofreader.

Samuel Dowd obtained a Foundation BTEC from Chelsea School of Art in 1996-1997, followed by a Bachelor of Arts in Fine Art, Sculpture from Wimbledon School of Art from 1997-2000. In 2005-2007, they completed a Master of Arts in Time Based Arts from Dartington School of Arts. In 2016, they obtained a CELTA from Berlin School of English, specializing in Teaching English as a Second or Foreign Language/ESL Language Instructor. Additionally, they obtained two certificates from Coursera: "Philosophy and the Sciences: Introduction to the Philosophy of Cognitive Sciences" in March 2018, and "Miracles of Human Language: An Introduction to Linguistics" in August 2017.
