Lee Taal has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple industries. In 1991, they began their career in the Royal Canadian Navy where they served as a Lieutenant until 2016. During their time in the Navy, they received various training and served on different ships, showcasing their skills and commitment to the military. In 2000, Lee joined GE Transportation as a Technical Director, managing a repair facility and optimizing locomotive availability. Lee also earned a Green Belt in Six Sigma Certification during their five-year tenure with the company. In 2004, Lee became the Director of Operations at Immediate Images, a digital-out-of-home advertising company, where they played a vital role in managing content and expanding their network. Lee is also the Founder & CEO of ChatterHigh, an educational platform that promotes post-secondary and career organizations. Lee successfully piloted the platform in Southern Vancouver Island and later expanded its reach across British Columbia and Alberta. Additionally, Lee contributed to the Victoria Hospitality Awards Committee as Vice Chair from 2005 to 2013. Overall, Lee's work experience reflects their strong leadership, technical, and entrepreneurial skills.
From 1991 to 1995, Lee Taal attended Royal Roads Military College, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Oceanography and Space Science.
