Carolinas ContinueCARE Hospital at Pineville

When healing takes time, we take care. Carolinas ContinueCARE Hospital at Pineville is a not-for-profit long term acute care (LTAC) hospital – the only one in Charlotte – specifically licensed and administered to provide care for patients who require daily physician and staff attention for complex conditions. Our patients often require specialized programs in pulmonary disease, wound care and management of multiple medical conditions. In September 2013, Carolinas Specialty Hospital relocated to its state-of-the-art facility in South Charlotte with A nurse monitoring station for every two rooms, 12-foot picture windows and features designed for our patients' specific needs. CSH is managed by Acuity Healthcare, a privately owned LTAC hospital company.
